Leg Swelling in Kuwait: When a Vascular Ultrasound Helps

Learn when leg swelling needs vascular ultrasound, what symptoms matter, and how to book assessment at Vascular Lab in Salmiya.

Why swelling happens

Leg swelling can come from veins, lymphatic drainage, medication, heart or kidney problems, injury, infection, or prolonged standing. Duplex ultrasound is useful when a clot, venous reflux, or circulation problem is suspected.

When to take it seriously

Sudden one-sided swelling, pain, warmth, redness, recent travel, recent surgery, pregnancy, or a history of clots should be assessed promptly. Chest pain or shortness of breath needs emergency care first; call 112 in Kuwait.
