What Are Varicose Veins?

Sclerotherapy for selected small superficial veins is considered after clinical assessment. Suitability is decided at the assessment; the cost depends on the number of sessions and the amount of injection material required, and the price is explained before treatment. Large bulging varicose veins often need duplex mapping first and may require a different plan.

Surgical and interventional vascular review is available through vascular surgeons in the hospital's Vascular Department when clinically indicated. Dr. Ahmad does not perform surgery.
